WASHINGTON, D.C.— Congressman Dan Meuser (PA-09) has successfully secured $1.5 million in federal funding for Community Strategies Group to support the Coblentz Corner project in Downtown Berwick. The funding will facilitate the demolition of a vacant one-story building and the construction of a new four-story, multi-use structure in the area.

The initiative aims to enhance daily foot traffic and commercial activity in Downtown Berwick, with the new structure set to house a regional teen center and an entrepreneurial academy. Congressman Meuser expressed his enthusiasm for the project, stating, "Our communities must have educational spaces where our children can grow and thrive. I'm looking forward to witnessing this project unfold and see the many positive impacts it will have on the Berwick community."

Rich Kisner, Executive Director of Community Strategies Group, praised the funding as a significant achievement for Downtown Berwick and its youth. He credited Congressman Meuser for his support, noting that the project's realization was made possible through the congressman's commitment. Kisner highlighted the upcoming planning phase for the project, emphasizing the positive momentum it brings to Downtown Berwick.

The Coblentz Corner project represents a collaborative effort to revitalize and provide new opportunities for the Berwick community. With the funding secured, the project is poised to make a lasting impact on the area, creating a space for educational growth and youth development.
